Powhiri day for Alfred and the whanau. Nau mai ki te kura o Whangaruru. Nga mihi to our whanau and tamariki mo te tautoko ki tenei kaupapa rangatira!

Our whole school took time to visit our signs by the awa. We said karakia, sang waiata, and shared mihi. We hope this can help make a difference to how people care for our environment.

These are our amazing students who achieved certificates this week. Olsen was for improving his writing, Joseph was for completing his reading response sheets, Sheridan and Watarauhi have graduated in different STEPS, Amelia moved up in reading levels and Keishan for using different strategies to read new words.
